 Shelter Building

 July 12, 2025

9am-Noon

9-12 years old 

Bring your sense of adventure and practice shelter building and basic survival in a fun scenario with new friends. After a short lesson on basic shelter building and knots, you and your group will be given a challenge to build a shelter and participate in a few surprises along the way...such as figuring out which local plant can provide first aid relief. All campers will take home a bandana and water bottle.

Do you like to spend time outside? Do you like to learn more about wild animals? Join us for nature exploration at Sutton Park. You will make your own nature journal, identify local plants and trees, learn about bird language, study wildlife tracks, play nature detective games, and practice wildlife observation.  All campers will take home their own nature journal and water bottle.
